Voluntary Donations -We would like to sincerely thank every one who has donated to this cause.

Coffee morning - Card Drives - Pub Quiz - Climbing Croagh Patrick Three field days and events have taken place on the site of the project in Tully and have been well attended and supported locally and internationally, with visitors from New Orleans having visited along with many other people visiting from abroad. The committee would like to thank all people near and far for joining us in our celebration of Margarets life and work and supporting our work into the future by "Walking in Margaret's Footsteps" by raising funds for local charities

All labour to date for the construction and maintainence of the cottage has been made voluntarily and they have done a tremendous job.

The Thatching of the house has been completed and was funded through Leader funding agency and the committee is currently applying for further funding from Leader to upgrade and complete works undertaken to date

The committee has recently received funding from:

• Failte Irelands Regional fund for the Gathering 2013 -— €1,500 Leitrim County Council - €2,500

• The committee will be posting up dated accounts in the new year to this web site







First winners of the Margaret of New Orleans Pub Quiz Fundraising. Cormac Doonan, Killian McGuinness, Kevin McManus & John Lockhart representing Charley Farrelly's. The trophy is the Aiden Harte Perpetial Trophy and is designed by local sculptor, Martin Doyle.
